I race to Metric Junkie where I become instantly ecstatically happy or am plunged into deep despair as I compare the relative ranking of my book with those within the same category. I find the weekly, monthly and yearly graphs to be hugely informative. If only every publisher and every author accessed this site, surely it would result in the publication of far more (or fewer) books that address the real interests of readers.
